     Have you ever considered taking your standard bikini wax that little bit further, but been put off by a bad experience or assumed it would just be too painful? If so, sit back and let us educate you!

    The Hollywood, Playboy and Brazilian wax are some of our most popular treatments ALL YEAR ROUND. Those who take the plunge so that they can avoid the hassle of errant hair regrowth on holiday, more often than not return again and again once their hol’s are over, so impressed are they with the results.

    There are 2 major factors with intimate waxing that many salons just don’t consider, assuming that it requires the same technique and products as other body waxing- they are WRONG.

    Any delicate area should be treated as such. Strip wax just doesn’t do the job, often ending up at worst bruising the client and at best sporadic and uncomfortable hair regrowth. Firstly, we cleanse the skin then apply a pre wax oil. Used alongside our incredible Rose hot wax by Harley (suitable for the most sensitive skin and removing hair as short as 1mm!) this ’shrink wraps’ and adheres to the hair itself so there is very little pull or drag on the skin itself, eliminating much of the pain associated with strip waxing and providing the added benefit of non acceleration of skin ageing. 

    The client is simply left with smooth, hair free skin, treated with a Lavender after wax oil to sooth and calm any redness. “What about ingrown hairs?” I hear you ask. Greatly reduced if not completely eliminated by this incredible waxing system.

    And the most common quote we hear? “That wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought!”

  • New Year, New Look!

    Welcome from the TA-oR team!

    We hope you like our new look for 2013! For those of you who don’t know, we’d like to introduce our new roles too. Elena is our Owner Manager. You’ll still see her in the salon though, ferreting away at new ways to make TA-oR even more irresistible (I know, we’ve told her it isn’t possible!) Tacha is our Organic waxing and Pinks Body expert, a role she’s excelling in (as her many clients will testify!) and many of you will already know Charlotte as our Sports and Deep Tissue massage guru. She’s also our specialist in Reflexology so your feet are in very safe hands!
    We all very much look forward to giving you a warm welcome this cold January. xXx
